When you come for your first session, we will spend
the first part taking some information, this allows me to find out about you and
your problems, whether you have a support network, what your expectations and
goals of our work together are.
Please don't worry if you feel anxious,
or concerned you will be upset, it's all part of the process - it's a big step,
and a very brave one.
You don't have to decide whether to continue coming
to therapy at the end of our first session, you'll need time to reflect on what
has happened, how you feel, and whether you feel we are able to work together.
I will ask you to telephone me in a few days if you wish to proceed.
